Don’t Cry For Me Sarah Palin
Editor’s note: For whatever reason, this post is getting way more than average hits. After you watch the video, I hope that you will take a minute to check out the rest of our blog! Also as noted below in the comments, this is a video that was on You Tube and was sent by a friend and –I take no claim to authorship and also don’t know who the man and woman in the video are, but I can neither sing or act so I assure you it isn’t me but for a fan of the musical Evita, too good to pass up:

Hey y’all–just to be clear, this came from You Tube, I have no idea who the woman in the video is, wish I did. My stage career ended in 3rd grade when I completely froze and forgot my lines!
Sarah Palin is an uneducated woman. You don’t know, what you don’t know. We need to educate her–she could become one of us. She is a victim of war mongers.

I’m still confused by McCain’s choice for a running mate. Was he taking a cynical slap at women or what when he suggested this would be a place for Hillary supporters to cast their votes? My nine-year-old granddaughter knows more about the Constitution and she can read a newspaper.

Those of you who spend hours making fun of any candidate need to get a life. Even if you don’t like Sarah Palin, we should have some respect for the candidates of all parties. Shame on you! Didn’t your parents ever teach you to respect others, even if they don’t share your opinions???

I agree with the person who mentioned looking for a repeat performance on Saturday Night Live. I think that would be awesome, and ever so, “right on!”
Lastly, I respect a person who warrants respect. I don’t simply respect a person for being in a political position, such as President or VP. Has Bush or Cheney shown respect for America or the American people? Hell No! Not in any way, shape or form. Likewise, Senator Palin has repeatedly been sarcastic and condesending toward Senator Obama, not to mention uttering a pack of untruths, which were easily verifiable as false. Furthermore, she has openly evaded point blank questions asked of her, e.g. questions by Katies Couric, which were simple questions, and ones that Senator Palin should have been able to answer with no problem. Should I respect someone who conducts themselves in this manner regardless of our differences, heck no! Lastly, she has absolutely no respect for the life of animals, and as a strong animal advocate, I find her disgusting appalling, and despicable. Her utter disrespect for non-human life is not only sinful, but speaks loudly to her true character as a human being.
This was really mean. I like Sarah and I wish someone would put this lady in the spotlight so she could be mocked and her family attacked. She obviously wants the attention!

Sarah put herself out there, she ran a very mean spirited campaign suggesting that anyone who didn’t live in a town like Wasilla isn’t American! We are all American whether we live in New York City or Wasilla. She’s used the wrong tact, she was hypocritical in her plea to the common man while raiding Neiman Marcus on an expense account, so anyone who feels sorry for Sarah should move to Wasilla and when Alaska secedes from the union then you won’t have to deal with us un-Americans in the lower 48!

This wonderful expression of satire is more a celebration of the awakening of the American People. Respect the fact that you live in a country that won’t behead you for expressing yourself creatively.

Positively AWESOME!!! I’m amazed at the level of creativity that has come out of this campaign in response to Obama’s candidacy. We have a second Obama Girl, or an Obama Mama.
To the person who said we should respect the candidates… sorry but being cynical comes with the territory. Look at the consequences of GW Bush being in power… do you respect him? Not me…. I don’t care if he is the president, he has the blood of tens of thousands of innocent people on his hands. I DO NOT respect him.
I am so thrilled with the outcome of the election. I feel like we, America, has some hope in our future. As Respect the Candidates wrote: don’t we have anything better to do than slam candidates? Maybe no at the time. what I do admire is that the majority of voters did not fall for Palin’s cutesy delivery of herself. She is an attractive woman but FINALLY people saw beyond looks and realized that this is not a very educated woman who heaven forbid could have been the leader of this great nation. Are voters smarter than we give ourselves credit for? You Betcha!
It is such a shame that people waste so much time with such nonsense. Could you imagine how much good could be accomplished if we were part of the solution and enpowering people than bringing people down. She should have just sang about how much she loves Obama and can hardly wait to see the changes he will bring. Sorry I can’t approve of this video.

This is absolutely hilarious! In some respect (especially with the Troopergate Scandal), I’ve actually compared Sarah Palin with some of the less desirable characteristics of Eva Peron herself! LOL! She did imprison people and toss the keys.
