Sentence Of The Day–”Pregnant Women Should Not Be Restrained Facedown In Four-Point Restraints”
With a huge h/t to Our Bodies Our Blog for this catch–from an Amnesty report about the treatment of pregnant prisoners in the U.S. prison system:
“Louisiana and the Federal Bureau of prisons have no restrictions on the application of restraints other than specifying that pregnant women should not be restrained facedown in four-point restraints.”
They had to specify this?? Remind me again what century this is…
