I don't say the situation is rosy over here, but I just hate seeing our problem used to divert attention from real issues. The present military and economic pressure on our country only strengthens the hardliners. What happens to Iraq's or Palestine men and women? What happens to hundred of millions of people who are starving? Why aren't these your primary concerns? Leave us alone. As an Iranian woman, I am opposed to this kind of out of context concerns which only propagates some neo-colonialist agenda.
