The newly formed Service Women’s Action Network (SWAN) has an excellent website, designed to serve both women currently in the military and those who are veterans.
“SWAN’s goal is to grow the network to as many states possible, reaching out to military service women, and educating about the issues women in the military face. SWAN would like to reach women from all walks of life and ask them to share their experiences. We reclaim our voices as military service women who have been silenced for decades and now speak to be heard and acknowledged. SWAN provides a place for women to share their strengths and support fellow sisters in transforming their personal lives and the lives of those we touch for a more peaceful worldview.“
