Because money is simply money. Why shouldn’t she accept money from these big dumb jerks? Why not use their money to do what we have to do?
Since politicians tend to represent only those constituents who pay for the privilege (used to be called “payola” when radio announcers and DJs did it), we need to come up with a contribution equal to the creepy rapper in order to be listened to, much less heard or supported. One of the reasons the “big dumb jerks” hang onto power is they get what they pay for.
