Feminist Peace Network

With the caveat that this isn’t  a cute little book that you put on your coffee table or a good read before sleep, Tara McKelvey’s anthology, “One of the Guys:  Women as Aggressors and Torturers” is an excellent collection of essays looking at the role of women at Abu Ghraib.  This is a perfectly unbiased opinion on my part, but in the name of full disclosure, the collection includes my essay, “The Misogynist Implications of Abu Ghraib”.  Other authors included Barbara Ehrenreich, Eve Ensler, Janis Karpinski, Cynthia Enloe and many others.  The book is published by Seal Press and is available from Amazon.
